The house had beautiful views and provided a peaceful and relaxing environment to unwind and switch off from the outside world. The games room was a great addition, keeping the kids entertained without relying on technology. The extra touches such as the electric heater and extra mirror were a welcoming surprise. The complimentary chocolates and bottle of wine were a nice gesture. The hot tub and games room were both excellent and perfect for a chilled weekend away. The facilities were of a high quality and maintained to a high standard. The property overlooked stunning countryside, making it the ideal retreat. The toiletries provided were also of a high quality with natural ingredients.
The area is quite remote, but for those looking for a peaceful and secluded getaway, this is perfect. Although the property was stunning and the perfect place to relax, it would have been nice to have more nearby attractions or activities within walking distance.

I had an amazing stay at Old Chapel House Tetney Lock! The location was perfect for scenic walks, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The crown and anchor pub nearby had delicious food and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were top-notch, and the house had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with charming original features. I especially enjoyed the white fairy lights in the garden and the hot tub. The house truly exceeded all my expectations and I highly recommend it. I had a perfect experience and would definitely book this place again.

The house was absolutely stunning - even better than the photos! The owners really went above and beyond by leaving us a bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was amazing and the games room provided hours of fun. The location was also great, with scenic walks nearby and a friendly village pub for a delicious meal.
There were honestly no downsides to our stay. The only thing I would say is that the area is quite remote, which may not be ideal for those looking for a bustling city break.
